I’ve found myself traveling quite a bit over the last year – let’s just say I’ve gotten really good at packing light. There nothing worse than traveling by yourself and lugging a bunch of huge bags around. I’m a “one carry-on” kind of girl, and I never (ever!) check a bag.
I’ve got quite a few packing tips, but today I share one in particular that not only saves space, but also money.
You know those little perfume samples that you get in fashion magazines or at the beauty counter? Don’t throw them away! Keep a stash in your travel bag’s side pocket and you’ll never be without perfume on the road. It sure beats carrying your full size bottle (space saver and no chance of it getting broken on the way) and each day you get to try out a new scent!
If you’re extra savvy, some brands will give you a tiny trial size vial of the liquid stuff if you ask for it at the department store counter. Either way you’re saving money and traveling smart.Share on Facebook
